Comau has launched MyCo, a new family of six collaborative robot arms aimed at expanding human-robot collaboration across a broader range of industries. The MyCo lineup includes lightweight, force- and power-limited cobots with payloads from 3 to 15 kilograms and reaches up to 1.3 meters, positioning the platform for flexible deployment beyond traditional automotive environments.
The robots are designed for rapid installation, intuitive programming, and easy redeployment in dynamic production settings. MyCo supports applications such as packaging, intralogistics, arc welding, and light assembly, and integrates with ROS 2 for modular system development. Features include internal cabling, multiple mounting options, graphical programming, and optional IP66 protection for harsh industrial conditions.
The launch aligns with rising adoption of collaborative robots by small and mid-sized manufacturers seeking adaptable automation. By emphasizing portability, safety, and ease of use, Comau is positioning MyCo as a scalable alternative to fixed industrial robots in evolving production workflows.
