TE Connectivity has launched a 3D Industrial Applications Tool designed to help customers explore its connectivity and sensor products within realistic industrial environments. The platform presents an interactive, application-driven interface intended to align product selection with real-world industrial use cases rather than standalone components.
The tool is organized around nine focus areas, including automation control, robotics and warehouse automation, motion and drives, semiconductor manufacturing equipment, battery energy storage systems, and electric vehicle charging. Users can navigate more than 50 industrial scenarios and access detailed product cards featuring 3D models, technical visuals, and supporting media that illustrate how components are integrated into broader systems.
The launch reflects a broader shift toward digital design enablement as industrial systems grow more complex. By emphasizing contextual visualization and application-level navigation, TE is positioning the platform as a design support layer that reduces integration friction and shortens decision cycles for engineers working across automation, robotics, and energy infrastructure.
