Cornell Leads $7.5 Million USDA Project to Deploy Robots in U.S. Apple Orchards
Cornell University has received a four-year, $7.5 million USDA grant to establish a Center of Excellence for Orchard Robotics, developing robots for pollination, fruit thinning, apple harvesting, and weeding in collaboration with nine partner organizations including Washington State University, Carnegie Mellon, Stanford, and Fresh Fruit Robotics.
