D-Robotics, a provider of robotics development infrastructure, is powering several notable home robot debuts at IFA 2026 in Berlin this week. Products running on the company’s Sunrise AI chips include TCL’s hey AiMe family companion-education robot, Vbot’s SuperDog household quadruped, and the xLean TR1 floor-washing robot. The company positions its portfolio as full-stack infrastructure for robot builders, covering Sunrise intelligent computing chips, RDK robotics developer kits, operating systems, and application software, with performance spanning 5 to 560 TOPS at INT8 precision. That range is targeted at the full spectrum of embodied AI, including humanoids, quadrupeds, home service and companion robots, and logistics autonomous mobile robots.

The lineup on display at IFA highlights how consumer-facing robotics is diversifying beyond traditional cleaning categories. TCL’s hey AiMe is billed as the world’s first family companion-education robot and combines guided-play learning with autonomous navigation, 10-degree-of-freedom expressive movement, and more than 20 sensors. Vbot is making its European debut with the SuperDog quadruped, which has been in mass production and reached thousands of households since May 2026, with CE certification and European pre-orders now open. The xLean TR1 floor-washing robot arrives at IFA following a $2 million Kickstarter campaign backed by more than 2,000 supporters and will demonstrate its EvoMate AI Agent live.

D-Robotics reports that more than 100,000 developers across more than 20 countries, 500 universities, and 500 startups and maker teams have built products on its platforms. Customers and collaborators cited include Bosch Sensortec for MEMS sensors, consumer brands including TCL, Midea, Positec (WORX), and Mammotion, and robotics developers including UBTech, Fourier Intelligence, LimX Dynamics, Booster Robotics, Astribot, AgileX Robotics, Elephant Robotics, Enabot, and RoboParty. The developer breadth and cross-brand deployment position D-Robotics as an infrastructure-layer supplier rather than a robot builder in its own right, similar in role to what Nvidia has been doing with its Jetson and Isaac stacks for the broader robotics ecosystem.
