Teradyne Robotics has announced plans to open a new U.S. operations hub in Michigan, strengthening its presence in North America’s manufacturing corridor. The site will support both Universal Robots and Mobile Industrial Robots, which operate under the Teradyne Robotics group.
The Michigan hub is designed to centralize engineering resources, application development, training, and customer support. By locating near major automotive and industrial manufacturers, Teradyne aims to accelerate collaboration with customers and system integrators deploying collaborative robots and autonomous mobile robots in production environments.
The expansion reflects sustained demand for flexible automation across U.S. manufacturing. As collaborative and mobile robots move from pilot projects to scaled deployments, regional operations hubs are increasingly critical for shortening deployment cycles, supporting integration, and maintaining uptime across diverse industrial use cases.
