Pudu Robotics has launched the PUDU ET1, an AI-native compact scrubber-dryer robot designed for commercial spaces between 100 and 800 square meters. The ET1 is the first product in Pudu’s new E Series, targeting convenience stores, drugstores, chain restaurants, business hotels, and office spaces – environments that have been underserved by cleaning robots that are either too large to navigate narrow aisles or too limited to reduce manual intervention significantly.
The ET1 combines vacuuming, sweeping, scrubbing, and dust-mopping in a single unit. Its front-sweep, rear-scrub configuration handles dry debris and wet stains in one pass without requiring separate cleaning runs.

Cleaning Specifications
The scrubbing roller reaches speeds of up to 800 rpm with 20 kPa suction for grease, footprints, and stubborn stains. For the sticky residues common in restaurants and convenience stores, ET1 supports 85-degree Celsius hot scrubbing, with hot water supplied by the docking station and maintained at temperature by the robot during operation. Real-time roller mop self-cleaning continuously refreshes the roller to reduce dirt buildup and prevent secondary contamination. Recovered dirty water is removed quickly, leaving floors dry with minimal residual moisture to reduce slip risk.
The robot navigates spaces with a minimum clearance of 50 centimeters in width and 60 centimeters in height, making it operable in narrow retail aisles, shelf gaps, and low-clearance areas during business hours without disrupting customers.
The 8-in-1 Docking Station
The ET1’s fully automated docking station handles eight functions autonomously: charging, clean water refilling, wastewater drainage, detergent dispensing, roller mop rinsing, squeegee rinsing, roller spin-drying, and water heating. After each cleaning cycle, the robot returns to the station and completes a full self-cleaning sequence, substantially reducing the daily manual maintenance burden on store staff.
AI Magic Cleaning
ET1’s AI Magic Cleaning system integrates perception, motion control, and cleaning operations into a unified workflow. The robot autonomously maps its environment, recognizes stain types, generates cleaning heatmaps, and adapts its cleaning behavior in real time. AI floor surface recognition allows it to detect carpet edges and lift the scrubbing roller to avoid wetting carpets, or lift the sweeping brush over liquid spills to prevent spreading. For stubborn stains, AI Adaptive Scrubbing automatically reduces cruise speed, increases roller speed, and boosts water output.
An optional 21.5-inch advertising display can be mounted on the robot for retail settings, enabling it to show promotional content and product campaigns while cleaning – functioning as a mobile marketing touchpoint in addition to a cleaning platform.
