Tokyo-based startup MW is embedding ceiling-mounted robotic arms into homes as an alternative to humanoids, targeting its first robot-equipped home sale by 2028, 10,000 units annually by 2035, and a ¥10 billion Series A within two years, after raising ¥3 billion in seed funding from major Japanese bank VCs.
