Pudu Robotics has launched the GT Series, a three-model lineup of AI-native commercial robotic mowers targeting professional grounds management, large commercial turf maintenance, and precision turf care for golf courses and sports fields. The GT3, GT5, and GT7 share a common AI perception architecture and commercial-grade construction while addressing distinct professional mowing requirements. The series makes its global debut at GaLaBau 2026 in Nuremberg, Germany, from September 15 to 18.

The launch extends Pudu’s robotics portfolio – which spans service delivery, commercial cleaning, and humanoid platforms – into outdoor professional grounds management, a sector where labor availability and cost are significant operational constraints for facilities managers, landscaping contractors, and sports venue operators.

GT3: Compact Grounds Care

The GT3 is a 36-inch compact robotic mower designed for properties with fragmented, irregular layouts including business parks, campuses, hospitals, and mixed hardscape-and-turf sites. It combines mowing, grass collection, and light debris pickup on turf with sweeping and debris collection on paved surfaces through integrated disc brushes. The combination of mowing and routine sweeping on a single platform reduces equipment switching and allows more frequent passes across complex property layouts.

GT5: High-Productivity Large-Area Mowing

The GT5 is a 60-inch commercial rotary mower targeting landscaping contractors, facility management companies, and operators responsible for parks, campuses, and large commercial properties. Its 60-inch cutting width targets approximately 2 acres per hour of operating efficiency, with up to 10 hours of runtime and coverage of up to 16 acres on a single charge. The GT5 cuts and collects in one pass, removing grass clippings, leaves, and light debris during the mowing cycle to maintain a cleaner finish across large areas.

GT7: Precision Reel Mowing for Golf and Sports Turf

The GT7 is a 62-inch triplex reel mower designed for golf courses, professional sports fields, and other environments where cut quality, consistency, and boundary control are critical. It integrates RTK positioning with accuracy of up to ±2.5 centimeters under supported conditions, alongside LiDAR and camera vision for autonomous navigation and obstacle avoidance. Operators can configure cutting angles, lane offsets, and directional rotations to establish standardized mowing patterns and reproducible professional striping.

Three independently floating reel units follow terrain undulation to maintain consistent height of cut across complex surfaces. Four-wheel drive and the ability to climb slopes up to 30 degrees support operation across demanding golf course terrain. The GT7 operates without a combustion engine and uses a low-noise reel system, making it suitable for noise-sensitive environments.

Shared Architecture

All three models share an AI-native perception stack combining LiDAR, camera vision, and depth sensing for obstacle detection across people, vehicles, animals, and terrain variations. Autonomous mapping, navigation, and obstacle avoidance are standard across the lineup, alongside manual drive mode for direct operator control when site conditions require it. Commercial-grade construction includes an all-metal body, steel chassis, IP66-rated weather protection, and emergency-stop functionality.
