AiMOGA Robotics plans to unveil its Mobo family companion robot on October 21 in Wuhu, China, with global pre-orders opening the same day. The Chery-backed company announced the launch on October 17 as part of the automaker’s International User Summit.
Mobo is designed around voice interaction, visual object recognition, reminders and memory of earlier conversations. AiMOGA says its MoAgent software connects perception, interaction and task planning to support more continuous exchanges with users.
The company will demonstrate family companionship and child-learning scenarios during an October 19–23 showcase. Other machines on display will address traffic management, medical guidance, product presentations and material transport, placing Mobo within a broader service-robot portfolio.
The announcement sets a debut and pre-order date but gives no selling price, delivery schedule or detailed operating limits. Demonstrated conversation and reminders should therefore be evaluated separately from unannounced household manipulation or unsupervised care capabilities.
RobotsBeat previously covered AiMOGA’s commercial expansion. Its Mornine service robot has handled public-facing tasks, including a Chery customer event. Mobo takes the company into a different setting, where families will also need clear information about privacy, support and everyday reliability.
